The Outdoor Section of Forsyth County Parks and Recreation offers a variety of  environmental education opportunities both at Sawnee Mountain Preserve and off site.



All environmental education programs are taught by trained naturalists and can be customized to meet the specific need of any group.  The education staff at Sawnee Mountain is dedicated to providing quality educational programs using the outdoors as a classroom.
